The 100th Anniversary of the Somme.

I was commissioned to create a film and a series of images, to project onto the war memorial in Sittingbourne. This was to commemorate the 100 year anniversary of the battle of the Somme on the 1st July 2016. The  projections showed local men, whose images were projected onto the places where they lived and worked before they went to war. Photographing and filming these projections gave visual form to the men, and momentarily recreated their memories as a moving experience, not just a visual representation.
